I don't know if this is how it's supposed to be, but I seem to only be able to recruit from taverns, not villages (or possibly castles and towns.) If this is a bug, please fix it, as this seems to be a very promising mod.
I really enjoy this mod but I have one question, in the faction Dirim, I wonder how do I get those Guards and the Knights? I cant seem to find them and right now I got the veterans, please help. thanks :)
unfortunately, you can't have those troops now, they are from nobles tree (inaccessible to the player in this version),likewise the Praetorian Guard is reserved only for the Emperor.
Indeed, the mod is under developement and it's far from being completed, but in upcoming releases, there will be a quests to save and restore the empire; then you'll have the whole Dirim troops tree (nobles and Pretorian included)
I hope to get able to ues that troops soon, but 1 thing I can say, ratter late then soon. ^^
With that I mean later it comes better it be, I go in school where we learn how to make our own games, so I should know the game/mods gets better if you wait longer. ^^
Sorry for that, but it's done deliberately, anyway troops are clearly recognizable and I don't think it's possible to mix different cultures in this mod.
I am spoiled by the onscreen battle map. I would like to see that in the future as well as a troop tree for paysan troops. The other kingdoms armies are really detailed. Is the paysan troops as detailed?
Pyasans troops tree is the most complete in the game: at the beginning you have just a basic infantry and archers. After the building and improvement of YOUR castle you'll able to "train" : pickmen (halberdier), crossbowmen and even cavalry from paysans...
When you do that quest to get your own castle, when you finally got your own faction, I wonder, can I change the culture so I can use other troops then paysan? I see in that camp action it stands change faction culture, but only thing that comes up are Cancel.
So does this mean it will be availible next patch or do I have to wait for some game days? or do I need to be ally with the faction I want my culture to be like? Thanks for your help and answer. :)
normally in this version, if you have a kingdom = you have the ability to change culture (in camp menu), probably a bug in your case!
of course this aspect of the game is not completely finished yet ... probably in the next release
I hope this will be fixed in the next release (I'm working in)
just have played almost all mods and want to change or add new things you'd like to see in the game...

it might sound weird, but I don't even know where's that cheat menu !
if you want a weapon, you can take part of a battle and simply pick up the weapon on the battlefield...
explanation here: Moddb.com
you simply cannot, or only after establishing your own kingdom (in the camp menu it there's an option to choose a culture), but it seems a bit buggy in that version

There's no recruitment in villages during only the first two days, after you can recruit normally
Ok, cool. Thanks!
Have my game on Steam; will the mod work ok on the 1.160 version?
not tried yet on the 1.16, but it should surely work !

I wish you good luck.
I have noticed that my troops do not have a banner over their heads. This makes it difficult to know who is ally or enemy.
