Tikiwiki is a UT3 MOD set on the island of Ahi’Wai. Two tribes, the Sariswati (Water Tribe) and the Ignatus (Fire Tribe), are struggling to survive as the resources they require to survive are dwindling mysteriously. They do not like conflict, and will do anything to avoid outright war and bloodshed. The tribes have come up with a system of gathering resources in a competitive nature as the elders work to find the truth behind the disappearing resources. The tribes have put forth their fastest and their brightest to help gather the resources through a fast paced junction capturing tournament.

A merry hello from the lead level designer on the Tikiwiki project.

Posted by on

Hello,

My name is Jaus Laird and I am the lead level designer on the Tikiwiki project here at the Art Institute of Vancouver (AI). My role on the project is to oversee and manage the team of level designers to develop fun, multiplayer levels that creatively express our core game mechanics in new ways. The two features of explosive action and sonic speed have been focused on to create levels that the players will enjoy.

Any questions or feedback pertaining to the levels or their design I am more than happy to answer and acknowledge. The more the better so don’t be afraid to ask.

Jaus

Unfortunately we don't have an overabundance of time. I may, in the next day or so. It really depends on what goes down. It would be great to get more feedback, so if doable... yes.

Sorry for the late reply.

Well, even as the presentation is at an end, I believe that there are going to be some people working on levels prior to submission, so once I get back to the world/school, I will be sure to try and get up screens of the updated levels. (And my do they look shiny... in places)
