Tiberium Secrets was a C&C3; mod that was developed from 2011-2020. Our vision was to create a future for the Command & Conquer universe. We had 3 new factions planned, and managed to release 1/3 of our planned content. We scoped too big, and unfortunately needed to cancel the other 2 new factions. These included novel mechanics, lore, and IP. etc. Development has been sign sealed, and delivered. All that is required to play the ASI is a working copy of C&C3;: Tiberiumn Wars. All of the content is FREE! Of Charge. Explore to your hearts content! Love it or hate it, all things must end, so new things can grow.

this idea is generally supported by team members but i want to know what you guys think.

teching up often feels like a quick process so we might make it take longer to get to the higher tech levels to provide more focus on gameplay at the lower levels, including infantry combat. up for delays in acquirement is the war factories, command centers, armorys, airfields, tech centers, and orbital uplink/signal transmitters (especially considering those PACs)

seems like a good idea

wait, why do you have the oldie name tag under your name? did you also quit the mod team?

It is amazing, that we can feel that mod is slowly awakening from its slumber, while still severly understaffed. And it pains me,that I can help just by mere words.
From what I get from you and GeneralJist, summer could prove as new dawn of it.

Could you expand the idea? You actually mean some tech-tree,relatively cheap and fast upgrades for T1 units, infantry to fare good in mid game,to be more suitable even for T3 units. I say yes, lets divert from EA's 20-minutes matches of amassing MBTs. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang no more..Proper RTS competitive fight between two sharp minds onboard. I were always looking forward to, that I will see Arms race for example beetween new shields for ASI Conscripters that are resistant to Colony acid attacks, but vulnerable againts new D51 anti-shield bullets, beetween all these unique factions with unique upgrades for its units.

the big part of the idea is to just simply make it take longer to build said structures (maybe an increase to build time), with this i think you may want a crane, so you can work on your tech and other stuff at the same time.

also could use ways of making tier 3 tech more worth it, without making new units and powers, stuff that can be done through coding if you can. at the same time i do want to maker tier 1 and infantry to somehow remain relevant in the late game. Im thinking might buff the tier 3s so tier 2s will have a hard time with them unless they can really outnumber. i also might start this idea in its own mod and see what people think.

I must say my first ever RTS was Earth 2150 a game where you developed each vehicle, weapon, shield, and stuff independently and each could take around a minute, so there could be a real slow buildup but every time you could get a new heavier unit it outclassed the light stuff. if you didn't keep up you would get pounded into the dirt. so in essence you had to work for your tech but it was worth it, plus you could work down paths 2 so you could ignore say ground units and only unlock air units. also really liked the fact that defenses were really good, they could take a real pounding and dish it out, that defense called a fortress, it got its name for a reason.

Yeah,Earth but 2160 for me and Warzone 2100 :D
That Lunar corporation battle station platform,or those electro twin cannon were practicly impregnable with those ED tanks.xd
Arms race and upgrades to catch up with your enemy were always so intense and great.
Glad to see you Mc.

I think the highest tier tech should be something you do not get in a normal match, just think of League of legends, in half of the games you dont even reach full level or build. i currently find the end-game targets being not end game enough
