Tiberian Sun Rising is a total conversion for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars! Tiberian Sun Rising brings back GDI and Nod battling it out during the Second Tiberium War, retelling Tiberian Sun as never before. This isn't just a remake of the hit title C&C Tiberian Sun. It is a mod making Tiberian Sun as it should have been originally so expecting lots of new fun and originality while sticking to the feel Tiberian Sun had. Taking the mindset that this is the first time Tiberian Sun is being made and using the original game as a design concept. This mod will also include the additions made in Firestorm so it is a remake of Tiberian Sun and Firestorm as one to what they should have been.New abilities and units will appear in Tiberian Sun Rising as well as new kind of gameplay altogether.

First up the Screenshots, displaying that GDI can use camoflague after all despite popular belief that GDI will use Desert colorings no matter what environment this is completely unfounded rumor. Also displaying up close and personal the Mammoth Mark 2 with its new skin ingame.

Jolly Battlefield Mammoth Mark 2!

And for my Brothers out there within the Brotherhood of Nod we have important intel on the new Banshee Prototype that has been constructed, not to mention it turns out that GDI after all is using Mobile Construction Vehicles adding mobility to their tactics... an interesting but not unexpected move by GDI Commanders.

The Mammoth looks amazing but the rest looks so-so. I think you should also make the sidebar look better.

The sidebar is due for a revamp, it was designed to match the older GDI skins, the newer GDI skins need a new sidebar to match I do agree. For the time being thou we at least have one ;).

The Mammoth Mk2 stands out more in detail because i used a method called Texture baking on it, embueing/faking Bump Mapping and other effects onto the texture which give it that apperance without the engine actually rendering bump mapping nor does it support it. This method will be applyed to all skins by the next update I imagine.

I'm not a fan of using existing intellectual property in mods, but I have to admit, it is looking pretty sharpish ;)

I like your intension to do everything for the best, but, please, don't get too carried away on constantly polishing the stuff that has already been done, because many mods died that way (they redid and redid the same things for an eternity attempting to please more public, but only losing it due to the enourmous development time), and I don't want yours to follow, It's damn too good for it! ;)

Ambersee.... the only intellectual property we are using is the world of Tiberian Sun. All Models and skins are of our own creation based off Westwoods designs with our own spin on them. We arnt using Westwoods/Reborns or anyone elses models/skins but our own.
Not to mention TIberian Sun Rising isnt a remake, its an evolved version of Tiberian Sun you could say.

DarkAlex:
Yes we did that ourselves in the beginning TSR was a constant goal of perfection and we wasted a bit of time there in the first year... but we did improve our skills a ton in this phase but we learnt an important lesson from that.

We still have high standards but we realise nothings perfect and alot of time can be wasted in search of perfection. We want the first release to be all it can be thou, then we'll improve it even more from there.

Texture baking is a very simple process hence why im willing to apply it to all skins now.
