i was flying around by my self in instant action, got out of my ship, then the vehicle respawn happen so i had to get back to the hanger with thrust gun, with fairly good aim i first landed by the bottom left corner of the left hanger bay door of red teams ship, thats when i realised i was inside the ships model, i could see the hanger bay interior wall and couldnt go though it, i couls see through some parts of the ship but not others and i couldnt leave, i fired my multitool to test and it hit right in front and also when i fired it my screen went black exept for the HUD and the multitool, when i opened my consloe to suicide i could see again but after i actualy killed myself the screen went blank exept for my body again, i respawned with no problems and started flying around again

Could be a problem with the mesh, it shouldnt happen but it has happened to me a few times as well. I cant seem to replicate it though so until i can do it everytime i cant really fix it :/

Yeah, I noticed that with the external view. Now, I never got stuck INSIDE the model, but I could see some of the black. For most other models, I've noticed that the camera just glides along the surface (Test it by getting in a scorpion in Torlan, driving it up to a wall, and rotate the camera so that it's against the wall.) I'm not sure what causes it... maybe there's some code or a model property. I would check it, but I can't get the UT2k4 plugin for Maya to work.

Have you got Maya PLE 7? If so, you need the PLE7-specific exporter. The old Maya 5 one wont work at all. If you go on Forums.beyondunreal.com there's a link to the new one.

The camera going into the wall is currently coded in by us. Dont worry though, this will be fixed just need to add a trace function to check how far away the object is.

Aye as i said its a rare bug that i have come across myself but i havent been able to repeat... It doesnt seem to be too major an issue and is exceptionally rare. Its probably something to do with the per poly collision system on the cruiser but thats to do with the game engine itself so dont blame me ;)
