Phases
all zombies have phases
any differences between the types of zombies and the phases they have are in the "zombie types" document.
Default phase:
will respond to "interest zones"
- the player may create interest zones such as a closed door or a loud noise. These are created and left on the ground and will disappear over time.
- Zombies within a radius of the interest zone will goto it and then it will disappear.
- if the interest zone is a dead body, the zombies will not remove the interest zone and will play the eating animation, i guess the zombies will eat other dead zombies
Can be alerted
- If a player comes within eyesight of a zombie, the zombie is now alerted and goes into alert phase
will respond to Alerted zombies
- All drones will go directly to the closest zombie that has been alerted
- will follow that zombie until that zombie isn't alerted anymore, or when the zombie itself is alerted
will leave a building if it is in one
Alert phase:
will attack and follow the closest player (should be the one who alerted him)
will enter buildings where the player is
will activate the closest sewer spawn point
will not respond to interest zones and alerted drones
if the player is out of line of sight, the drone goes back to default phase
