Zombie Interest
Dude this is sweet in my opinion
summary
there are several types of items that cause the zombie to be interested in them
they are created in many different ways
all of them are only seen or used by non alerted zombies
they are simple physics objects that are invisible or have some sort of symbol to show what they are
spawning
either they are created by an actor, spawned in a volume, or another way
types
here is a few examples or what they are, what they would be used for, and how they would work
food- if a player shoots something like a mayo jar, or opens a fridge, it would spawn a food token. they are also created from corpses as that it would be zombie food
-the zombies would walk up to it, and the token would disappear after it played the eating animation
city walk
-to create a moving zombie environment, these tokens would spawn in the streets and would disappear after a zombie would walk near it. there would be a lot of these and it would be be lower on the priority chart
noise-
these disappear over time and are created when a player fires a gun, or activates something loud or whatnot, they disappear if a zombie goes near em, maybe the zombie would have to stand by it for it to disappear, like if it was thinking or something, but the main use is so it attracts the zombie to the player
Priority
The zombies check for tokens within range of them, and will goto the closest in order of priority
noise
checks for food first, if returns back as a no,
food
it checks for food
city walk
otherwise it goes to the closest city walk token
now, if it is currently going to any of the tokens, it will be able to be interrupted by any new noises or food being spawned near by
for example if a zombie is eating, and it hears a sound, it will stop eating and goto the sound and if more food is made, it will recheck, but until the noise is gone it will be the highest priority and the zombie will go towards it
