Zombie damage


all zombie are invincible
whenever they take a hit from something and take damage, it is added up and stored on the zombie
if this damage is dealt to a zombie in specific areas such as the arms or the legs, the sharp or blunt damage being dealt is taken in effect
if the zombie has 200 damage allowed total, as the drones does , and the head breaks or is severed, the zombie dies

parts

head
the head take a total of 30 damage of either blunt or sharp damage to break or sever
breaks - zombie feigns, gets back up if damage total <150, head joint ragdolls or some other effect showing its broken
severed - same as breaks, except the head is removed and spawned as a gib

Arms
the arms take a total of 20 damage of either blunt or sharp damage to break or sever
breaks - lowers the zombies attack by 10 for each arm, ragdolls
severed - lowers the zombies attack by 20 for each arm, spawns gib

Legs
the legs take a total of 30 damage of either blunt or sharp damage to break or sever
breaks - lowers zombie mobility by 25% for each leg, feigns, sets zombie to always crouch (changed the crouch to the crawl animation)
severed - same as breaks




this is an absolute example

if a zombie looses his head, or he wasn't spawned with it, he would have at least 30 damage total

lets say he takes a hit from a maul and does just that, he takes 30 blunt damage and 10 sharp damage and the head breaks

now, if the zombie takes another 110 damage he will die

the player hits him in the arm for another 30 blunt damage and 10 sharp damage, this 30 blunt damage breaks his arm at 20 blunt damage but keeps the other 10 blunt damage as well as the 10 sharp damage

now the zombie has 80 damage total and his arm is broken

the player hits his arm again for 30 blunt damage and 10 sharp damage and his arm is severed and the total amount of damage to the zombie is 120 damage

the player hits the zombie in the torso and the 30+10 damage is dealt and the zombie dies
