A WW1 full conversion mod for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour, that will be using art and code from the long forgotten mod, The Great Trench War. I plan on making this mod as historically accurate and realistic as possible. I also plan on including the factor of Moral for infantry. This mod is also for vanilla Generals. I havent been working on it very long, and any help with skinning and/or modeling is welcome.

Fix the Smoothing Groups on the front of the plane, also, to shave off polys, you can change the propellers to simple square planes with alpha-based textures, you won't see the difference in game believe me. Other than that, modelling quality looks pretty damn good.

thanks for the tips! One thing tho, will the props still look ok like that if i pause the animation while its on the ground? (to make it look better, like the engines are off.)

Other than the 3d modelling tips mentioned, three points:

1) It's Vimy, not Vimey
2) It didn't enter service in time to participate in the First World War
3) The background image, and therefore I assume your 3d model, is actually the Vimy Commercial, a 1920s Airliner derivative.

For a 1917/18 bomber of this type, you'd be best to model the Handley-Page 0/400

Again, as with the Mark 1, thanks for all the info. And the background image is of the Commercial version, but from what i saw the main difference was the rounded nose. ill probley change the main allied bomber of the mod to the 0/400, but ill keep the Vimy as a bomber buyable after a building upgrade of some sort (i know it wont be historically correct like that, but the Tsar Tank dident ever see combat ether). Again, thanks for the info :)
