it took inspiration from other games and mods. The Unknown Menace took nothing from the
storyline of Half-Life, and is completely independent from it, although the user will have
to possess the game to play the mod, because it uses some sprites, models and textures from

III. The Unknown Menace Game Information
First of all, thanks for downloading this mod.
It is important that you start the mod by the Training. There you can see where
the hero lives :)
The Unknown Menace is a modification for the game Half-Life, developed by VALVe software.
The Unknown Menace is called "single player" due to the fact that you can't, and don't have
to play with other people,
which means that you don't have to be online to play. The principle of the game isn't
deathmatch or capture the flag, but its a storyline-based gameplay : you have one goal that
must be reached once.
The Unknown Menace has its very own story and challenge, but like most creations,

Tips:
-IMPORTANT: The Unknown Menace is realistic, if you receive one bullet in the head, you die,
even with kevlar armor. You can't just go running around shooting enemies, you have to be
careful, and think before starting to shoot. Use you're STEALTH.
Your radar is your best friend, remember this.
-Save using (default) F6 a LOT!
-When stuck, use your head. The puzzles are tricky, but easily solved.
-Be careful of ammunition waste; it might cost your life.
-There are different ends of the mod, so you can replay it to figure out what the other
endings are.
-Enjoy the mod :)
NOTE: There is some explicit language. But if you are under 9 you shouldn't be playing these
kind of games AT ALL anyway.
