Members - The Thing Mod for Quake III Arena

This modification is based on John Carpenter's 1982 classic horror film, The Thing. The goal of this modification is to change the way FPS games are played today. Instead of going around shooting up the place you will have to play smart and out-wit your opponents. You will have to make decisions on who to trust or who you think might be "playing" the friend. If you are on the other side of the table as a "Thing" you will have to do your best and conceal your true identity. You will have to trick your enemies into thinking they can trust you and destroy them when you have the best opportunity. The modification does not follow the events of the movie. Instead, it uses the setting, creature, and concept but with an entirely new cast of characters and no specific plot during games.
