The Second Tiberium War 2.3 is here and brings with it many new structures and graphics improvements to both GDI and Nod as well as balance fixes, skirmish and multiplayer improvements, AI balancing, and the beginning of special operation missions.
Version 2.3 - In Defense of Technology
Version 2.3 is here and features large overhauls to both factions by adding new structures and upgrading existing ones. This version will bring a more fluent game experience addressing some issues Tiberian Sun has with base structures and adds more visuals in the process. Here is what you will see in this update:
New Structures
Both GDI and Nod see large additions to structures such as the Armament Facility, Rocket Tower, Vulcan Turret, Ion Research Center, Stealth Generator Hub, Emitter Pylon, and upgrades to several existing structures.
Visual Upgrades
Structure animations have been overhauled on almost all faction buildings making them an awesome sight especially during the night. Players now have the option in skirmish and online play to choose the time of day their match will take place.
Technology Tree Rework
With the addition of new structures comes a tech tree rework which will spread out the available units and buildings allowing the player to choose what to build toward first.
Special Operation Missions
New special operation missions will be available with each update beginning with “In Defense of Technology” which is a wave defense map for Nod. Though only one is available, more will be released in the future and also expand on the story as the battle for world dominance continues.
Skirmish and AI Changes
Several options have been added to skirmish to allow for a better player vs AI experience. AI will no longer prioritize map neutral factions over the player. Players also have the options to choose the time of day and whether ion storms are going to occur or not. An option to allow for Aesthetic structures is now available for those who wish to construct pavement, security towers and sandbag wall.

I would like to add that I am currently working on another project and had intended to release more maps and a few more additions to this update but decided to release it as is. The Second Tiberium War has been in development since 2012 and I will continue to develope new versions in the future. I have many more ideas that I would like to implement such as a Super Weapons overhaul and a Naval technology update. It's a work in progress and I thank you for your support and interest in The Second Tiberium War, game on soldier!
black screen when i want to play
The Tiberian Sun client which is found here: Moddb.com is what I built the Mod on. It requires the microsoft .NET framework to function. If that is not the issue I do not know.
Sorry for my ignorance, but is this standalaone or do I need TS to play? Because I don't think I can get TS to work on win10.
