In the bloody engagement, the 501st lost an entire battalion, entirely composed of veteran troops from the clone wars and Operation: Knightfall.
The Freedom class is built after the "Pocket cruiser" concept the assault frigate was based on. Despite mediocre armor and shielding this ship is armed to teeth with nearly every weapon the RCA ever produced. This ships also features a large starfighter hanger and a Capital-ship grade torpedo bay, which allows this ships to take down larger adversaries, with relative ease.
