Sorry in advance if my opinion upsets, annoys, offends, or otherwise gets on the developers nerves but in my personal opinion, if y'all are going to do any kind of actual armor in this game you should stick to semi-realistic armor such are German trench armor and helmet shields, use the French chain mail shrapnel mask, there is a plethora of actual body armor used during and after WWI, and seeing as you plan to change the date to 1903 using WWI body armor isn't that far fetched of an idea, just my two cents though
