The Red Alert, developed by the mod team of C&C Labs (makes of The Forgotten and C&C All Stars, undertakes one of the most ambitious tasks in C&C modding: to recreate and improve upon an original game. The mod, in development for Red Alert 3, is based off the original Red Alert's art and game play. Not aiming to model realism, it instead endeavors to bring the addictive heart-pounding game play of the classic to a world-class 3D engine, to bring back all of the classic units, including those from Aftermath, and to recreate the very "feel" of its art style. With The Red Alert, epic tank battles, MiG attack runs, and Cruiser strikes will be more than just fond memories — they will all be weapons in your arsenal once again! It was released on September 21, 2011 and was ranked the number one mod on Moddb.

(buried)

i think it may be a little to simple. maybe if there was something sticking out of it, to make it bigger, right now its completly ridiculous it would heal vehicles. in RA it was understandable, old ****, but gaming has evolved. just too flat.

Yeah, but the problem is that vehicles don't interact with other objects in a RTS the same way they would in, say, a first person shooter. In other words, there wont be any collision detection between the edge of the depot and the depot and the wheels of the vehicle, so vehicles will drive right through it. Therefore, if I made it too high, you'd be able to easily see the vehicle clipping the depot as it enters the bay.

well in a logical sense in real life the way it may work is a tank for example drives over the edge and the inside edge helps keep the tank from rolling off. Then when its done the platform could rise to let the tank out I guess?

The model looks good anyway.

I think that it looks perfectly fine, 3D wise. However it could use some faction symbols.
