Yeah, I hated the ending of the battle in 300. They basically committed suicide. The real last stand was much more heroic and desperate and brutal.

Yeah... it wasn't quite right. In the actual one when the king was killed they fought back and forth trying to reclaim his body and lost it 4 times and reclaimed it 3 times (give or take a try I can't remember exactly). The latter loss was when nearly everyone was dead/severely wounded.
