This mod aims to bring a realistic paintball experience to the CryENGINE 2. We are currently working on modeling and rigging markers, creating playing fields and tweaking paint simulation Some of out aims include: -A diverse arsenal of markers to choose from, with equippable attachments such as longer/shorter barrels, different sizes of hoppers etc) -A wide range of playing fields. including woodsball, speedball, x-ball, as well as less . -A true to life simulation including realistic sound effects, splat effects, deadbox, paint flight calculation, marker handling, "walking the trigger". -All this and much more will be featured within the final release. Release date is TBA, and i would not hold my breath if i were you since we still have alot of work ahead of us. This video demonstrated the custom sound effects we have implemented to accompany the new marker. There are 5 different sounds to ensure that shooting does not sound repetitive.
at the end of the video, i test out the new "walking the trigger" method we have also implemented. I am not very good at it (yet) but you can clearly see that i was able to achieve a higher rate of fire than with the SOCOM.
