I have a reference image. No scratches on that, so why should i add them?

I've added blood which i think was enough, white scratches would be terrible contrasting. Look closer at the image, i did add a lot of dirt detail to the wood and metal.

I see it, I'm talking about iron usually has white scratches. Its up to you mate, I still love it :P.

Haha yeah i know what you mean man, i had white scratches at the end, but they have been over-layered by the blood now! :P

I have added a little more lighter scratches to the metal part. It contrasts badly and looks a mess but hopefully people will like it better now!

"odd" is not constructive criticism. And if its something to do with how it doesn't look like another weapon image you have, well there are like infinite variations of these things.

And as for shininess on the texture, the blood is shiny, also this weapon like all varies on reflectivity depending on the light in the area.

Do people on a railroad use a pickaxe? I thought that miners were the most common thought.

I hav ea reference image which i follow closely, the model was VERY easy to make and the texture was exactly the same because of the simplicity of this thing. And you claim i lack detail on the easiest thing ever.
