LOTR-TW is a Total Conversion for Alexander TW based on The Lord of the Rings trilogy, focused to recreate the epic battles seen in the movies. It has a complete Middle Earth map, fully customised cities like Minas Tirith and Helm's Deep on Battle and Campaign map, a set of Historical Battles where you can play all the major and minor battles that take place in the trilogy, and a quest line for the Free-People's campaign where, if the player succeeds, will take the Ring-Bearer from Hobbiton to the wasteland of Mordor in an attempt to save the world from its doom.

Great map :) can you make mor like this but with other cities and castles? this is something that should be implemented in many mods and even in vanilla games

There are about fifty (basically every single one that can be changed) fully custom settlements in the mod. Not only major sites like Minas Tirith, Edoras, Isengard, and others but also the common camps and settlements for all factions. There's lots to explore! :)

Edit: There are screenies for a few of these if you go a handful of pages back in the images list.

I am absolutely certain that it takes a huge amount of work!
My contribution has mainly been balance/polishing and some additional campaigns in the Campaigns Addon ( Twcenter.net(for-LotRTW-v3-0-) ). The original creators, and the folks who did all the heavy lifting were Wlesmana, Bardo, and Seth Krn3ll.
