In this new modification for Half-Life 2, you take on the role of a protagonist who has no ties to the material world. You have no family, no friends, and no foreseeable future. You set out on an adventure to get away from the oncoming peril, you soon realize you are met with more than you expected. This mod is heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda series, taking major elements from the game. I hope it will create a breath of fresh air for the FPS genre. The game will feature puzzle aspects while maintaining the fast paced action of an FPS.
Ever wanted to take two of the greatest games of all time and melt them together into one package? Well now you can.

Remember back in the days of Nintendo when we used to play games like Mario, Star Fox, and of course the amazing Legend of Zelda? Go ahead about 5 years later and we're introduced to a revolutionary First Person Shooter entitled Half Life 2... I want you to go and take a look at metacritic and tell me what the #1 Ranked game of all time is on the PC. You won't be surprised to find that Half Life 2 owns that spot with a score of 96. Again take a look at the charts and let me know what's the #1 ranked Nintendo 64 game is of all time. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time holds the fort with an almost perfect score of a 99. While users may not particularly agree with these scores, I think it's safe to say both Half Life 2 and Legend of Zelda are two of the greatest games of all time. This is why I will be taking both of these games and fusing them into one.
The Legend of Gordon takes place a little while after the events of Half Life 2 Episode 2... (No Spoilers here) Gordon Freeman goes on his own to explore north of White Forest and reaches a destination (unnamed as of now). His quest begins as he explores the Forest Temple, and after that... well... that's still in the works!
While the general plot of this game has been though up already, the details have not been ironed out quite yet, but we have a small group of minds constantly working towards the goal of making a perfect combination of Puzzle and Action brought to everyone's computer via the Source Engine.
So come on down and check out Legend of Gordon, while there are only a few teaser screenshots available currently, I will be making it a point to update the page on a daily basis.
Let me know what you guys think!
