The Legend of Gordon is a modification for Half Life 2. It is not a total conversion as it does take place within the Half Life universe. The mod takes place after the events of Half Life 2: Episode 2 (sort of my take on what happens afterwards). This mod is heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda, so in essence I'm taking elements from two great games and putting them in to one package. This mod aims to create a unique atmosphere while not necessarily going crazy on the visualizations. I am the kind of person that cares much more about gameplay above anything else, so my aim is to make this game fun, challenging, while at the same time balanced and easy to learn for those who have never picked up an FPS before. The game does NOT contain spoilers of Episode 2 and does NOT require you to have episode 2 to play so don't worry! You can understand nothing about Half Life 2 and still have a good time. So relax and check out some of the media!

hours of work, I can finally call one of the maps complete! Don't worry, there are 5 other maps in the works, they just aren't completely done yet!

What on Earth are all those individual 64 x 64 blocks?
They are actually 256x256 (This is zoomed out A LOT) and they are displacements! It's my way of doing displacements so when you subdivide them, you can work with a smaller grid since there is a limit for how many powers of subdivision you can have! Also so you can work with small sections at a time rather than the entire surface.
