It sucks when you can't find a star system big enough to park it in.

Who says this is the only Titan the Xin have? :p

And you have to see this thing one-shot a starbase, then talk to me about not being scary. In fact, there was this little game back in the day called Warcraft, which had a really nasty unit, the catapult. Now, your average catapult isn't exactly scary, being basically a giant spoon on wheels, but I sure learned to dread seeing one rolling down towards my end of the map...

It's that powerful... but not overpowered. I take great care not to make anything overpowered, because that's no fun.

A titan is basically the king of all superweapons. It takes a LONG time, and a lot of research, resources and sacrificing other assets to make one happen.

So it's only fitting that once you do build one, you get to one-shot starbases. :)

Getting a fully upgraded starbase takes a long time, a fair bit of research and a LOT of resources as well :P Having it one shotted isnt fair to the person who put in all that work if they cant one shot it back :P

Consider that Xin Titans take up a LOT of the fleet capacity the player has. Having one means you have to cut your fleets, number-wise. Of course, Titans make up for that in sheer concentrated firepower.

However, while both Leviathan and Charybdis will get an expansive spotlight update later on, for now suffice to say that neither will be an "I Win" unit. They will be an "ohshitohshitohshitatitaniscoming" unit, but having one does not mean game over for the enemy (or you if you happen to be on the receiving end).

I may also make it so that a FULLY upgraded starbase only gets set on fire and all its windows smashed, but not one-shotted. Have to leave something for the swarms of assault drones, no? :p

Something like that. Of course, if the fat worm catches your armada first, then you're in for a world of hurt. :)
