Step 1: Download the prerequisite mods: Namely the Tyranid (OLD) Moddb.com, Steel Legion Moddb.com and finally DaemonHunters mod Gamefront.com.
Step 2: Download ALL 5 parts of the Imperium of Man Mod
1) Moddb.com
2) Moddb.com
3) Moddb.com
4) Moddb.com
5) Moddb.com
You will need to use WinRAR to extract these files.
Step 3: Extract part 1 to the Soulstorm directory.
For CD users: This most likely will be C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Dawn of War - Soulstorm. YOU DO NOT NEED TO MAKE A FOLDER just make sure the target is inside your game folder and the download will do it automatically for you. Of course if it asks for admin rights to copy accept.
For STEAM users: This most likely will be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dawn of War - Soulstorm (or somthing to that name). Again you DO NOT NEED TO MAKE A FOLDER for the mod since I already prepared the folders already. Just let the WinRAR dump the files in the folder. Of course if it asks for admin rights to copy accept.
There should be 2 files it copies: ImperiumofMan folder and ImperiumofMan.module. These should be inside your game folder directly (not inside some other folder inside the Dawn of War - Soulstorm folder!)
Step 4: Grab the Objective Points SS mod. Moddb.com
This file is IMPORTANT if you want to have banners for custom races! Thank jONES1979 for the link!
Place the objective points mod inside the SOULSTORM folder same way you did for ImperiumofMan folder.
Step 5: Run Soulstorm with ADMIN rights. If you do it correctly you will have the option to change to The Imperium of Man mod inside game manager within the Soulstorm game!
Step 6: Enjoy!
