There are many ways in which CryEngine surpasses what could be done with the version of Gamebryo used for Oblivion - just a few examples are: density of grass, variety of water effects, volumetric lighting effects (such as "God-rays"), depth of field effects etc. I hope to be able to put these effects to their full use.
