The Great War mod is a total conversion modification for Napoleon: Total War. It creates an authentic representation of World War 1-era tactics, strategies and general warfare within the game. Including stunning new visuals that include entirely new models and textures for equipment, vehicles and more, the mod immerses you into the era with brand new gameplay unlike anything you've experienced in Total War before.
It has been a long time since the last update! Personally, I've been busy with... everything else. I think the same can be said for the rest of the mod team. Even so, we've been doing some stuff here and there, including the introduction of proper kepi models to the French infantry and Lebel rifles.
The image here shows the new French general's kepi as well as a unit of Foreign Legion troops.
Take your time, important things first, mods second. Besides, work as good as yours is worth waiting years for.
Agreed, gamers these days are so impatient. Keep up the amazing work and show those dolts at CA and SEGA that this time period deserves a total war game on the grandest of scales!

exatly we need a total war in ww1 or ww2
Would you guys please fix the issue with units keep moving around on their own? its kinda hard to maintain formation when they keep changing direction without me ordering. Also nice work guys and i agree with santaofdeath and crazyvulcan take your time :)
