Ethnicity instead of religion Thread - The Great War mod for Napoleon: Total War

In this era, religion was not that important, but ethnicity was. The causes for the outbreak of WW1 were much more caused by ethnic unrest. The start of the great war, de murder of Franz Ferdinand was because of Serbians not wanting to be ruled by Austrians. (easyfied). The Great War also was the trigger for many for a growing nationalistic feeling and identity

So, instead of having religions in this game, you could make ethnicities. This has the following consequenses:
1. A faction has a 'ruling ethnicity', instead of a state religion
2. Each region has a composition of 'Ethnic influence', instead of religious people.
3. This ethnic influence in some regions may be the cause for mayor unrest.
4. Did you know that you can make some religions more agressive towards eachother? In vanilla, muslims are much more angry to be ruled by catholics, as protestans are. So, using this, you can make serbians much more hatefull toward austrians, as say french are.
5. This by the way, makes conquering regions easier, if they are of your ethnicity.
6. religious rebellions become ethnic rebellions
7. The ottomans did also ethnic cleansing, which is terrible, so its good we havent armenia on the map.

Futhermore, you can have:
1. Agents and buildings, slowly converting the 'Ethnic influence' in a region towards yours.
2. Technologies increasing or decreasing ethnic unrest.
3. leaders with certain traits, causing extra, or lesser ethnic unrest.
4. certain groups are antisemetic.
5. Slavs in Slovenia, Silizia and Bohemia are causing unrest under German rule
6. The Irish having a big uprising in 1916 against the British, (Historical)
