im having trouble with the launcher, it keeps saying it cannot find Napoleon.exe
i used to have that problem get winrar it solves the problem
I did install winrar, but it stills say "We didn't found Napoleon.exe"

When I installed the patch, the tank unit numbers stayed the same and still disappeared after the battle. Did I do something stupid and install it improperly?
I don't think so. Easiest work-around (without having to edit the db-files with PFM) is to increase the campaign_unit_multiplier in your preferences.script.txt: i.e. set it manually to 1.25 and save. With Normal/Conventional warfare scale settings this leaves you with 2 tanks and 5 crew. Although 2 tanks for the present cost and upkeep will be a bit OP. This helps preventing the scenario when your whole reinforcing stack of tanks would disappear after a battle, in which they might not even have been called in, or would allow cheesy tactics, like to attack with an expendable unit first and, as your opponents' tanks would automatically dissapear after the "skirmish", to engage them in battle at this point only.

WinRAR keeps giving me an error message saying the "archive is in an unknown format, or, is damaged"

It might be just the Version.txt, which wasn't updated; you should be fine.
