Cool, the problem is, how are you going to make a general ''hardpoint'' for vehicles? I mean that a scorpion is placed differently from a warthog, and they have different sizes too.

In the game they are placed:

Although I have seen other positions in mods (left):

So are you going to set a different position for each vehicle, or you are going to use a generalized one? (So you can transport vanilla arma 3 vehicles and other vehicles from mods). I also have had some problems with collision with the attach to command, hope you don't have none of those.

We'll use a general one but the Halo vehicles will get special treatment in where they are placed so don't worry about that.
The scorpion will be placed backwards as you see in the first picture.

If you played the Warfare gamemode in Arma 3. You are able to tow vehicles with other vehicles via the action menu. You can also do this with a helicopter- (That was the way vehicles where transported via air before the Arma 3 helicopters DLC.) Now, with the tow, and lift functions from the warfare gamemode. The attached vehicles where static, and didn't have any physics. You where able to get into a vehicle that was being towed or lifted. But, the ability for it to move was lost until the vehicle was detached.

The attached vehicle acted like a extension to the vehicle that was towing the other vehicle.

This is what they basicly plan to do. They plan to use an attachTo script. For now they are using the Arma 3 helicopters DLC's winch as a placeholder.

Not really as a placeholder, but as a second alternative.

Lifting heavy objects with a longer sling makes it difficult to fly and hover normally. So the sling would be more useful in picking up objects that needed to be moved quickly while the attachTo option is slower to attach but easier to maneuver with.

Ah... So, while sling be moved to a different location one day? Like, to the under-carriage?

Because, it would make a little more sense that way, as seen here:https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20101017135003/halo/images/8/8d/Portable_Bridge.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/374203&h=1080&w=1920&tbnid=Qy1O84kOxJVBRM:&zoom=1&docid=CEWMmi5PbBnHiM&ei=gVLmVPDmI8yjgwTe3YP4Cw&tbm=isch&ved=0CCAQMygCMAI

We will use a different type of vehicle loading more visually close to that of what you see in the Halo games. Where the vehicle is suspended directly behind the passenger bay.
