This is just... wow
Awesome! Is it gonna get the 70mm Chin turret and the .50cal in the rear?
i think initially it wont but eventually that will get added. we've also decided to initially release the pelican with a generic cockpit that will be replaced with the extremely detailed one we made but have yet to complete. this is simple due to time reasons, it would delay the alpha release quite some bit.
Basically, what the dog is saying, is we are only going to have an unarmed transport Pelican for the alpha release. For the 2nd beta release we will have a gunship variant. I can tell you now though we will not be using the 70mm turret. That thing is just too ridiculously big. It is more likely to be 20-30mm. There will also be an MG in the rear of the transport Pelican, just not on the 1st release. It'll come in the 2nd.
Could we get a pick of the Pelican carrying something?
Sure I'll upload one here in a bit.
We plan to use an attachTo script to allow people to load and deploy vehicles like you see in the Halo games. For now we are just using the slingloading feature from the Heli DLC.
That would be great. And, the attachTo script would definitely fit for the Pelican.
I can see what you're saying. You're going to use the script from the Arma 3 warfare gamemode.
Sweetness. I always thought a 70mm chaingun would be a bit ridiculous (Though glorious) even on something as large as a Pelican. A lot of crash models needed tho since they seem to only fly to the crater they make lol. On the serious side, awesome work guys, have been looking forward to a good Halo mod since Operation Flashpoint.
Very nice. I realize the 7.0 cm chin gun won't be use, but will we also see Anvil II Launchers added to the pelican?
