Battle for Tamriel Open Beta has been finally released! Please read all installation instructions.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1) Make sure that version 8.3.0 of ROTWK Patch 2.02 is installed. If you have Edain Mod installed, disable it.
2) Switch your 2.02 version to 8.3.0 before installing the mod
2) Download Battle for Tamriel Beta installer
3) Run the exe as Administrator and install the mod anywhere except BFMEII and ROTWK folders
4) Run the mod through shortcut, created on the Desktop
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This version is not final. Where are still minor bugs, and some FX, UI and Sounds are WIP. However, both factions are fully playable.
If you get crashes while entering Skirmish mode or choosing the side, these tips will help you:
- Open vanilla ROTWK and choose Men in the faction list
- Delete your CaHs in My ROTWK Files folder
- Delete your skirmish profile in the same folder
HOW TO PLAY THE MOD ONLINE
T3A:Online: download T3A:Online, hook your ROTWK launcher and play online
Hamachi\Radmin VPN, other Hamachi-like VPN lobbies - similar to other mods and games you would play via these programs
GameRanger: follow this article or this video from 3:16. The only difference is that you need to put Extra Flags from Battle for Tamriel (e.g. - mod "C:\Program Files (x86)\Battle for Tamriel Beta\bfta") in this exe. Be sure to unhook your ROTWK exe for T3A:Online before doing all this

This mod looks just amazing but I get an error when I try to start it up (I installed it all in the correct way). The error says:

Wanted to say that this a very great mod! It's so rare to see a work advancing to this stage with complete factions and you've managed to build and recreate lots of stuff!
A little things that could be fixed it's the "choosing the side" crashing.
I've actually found that with vanilla game, AoR (2.2 v8.0.1) and your mod (2.2 v8.3.0) this happens now: your game AND even the vanilla crash in any situation EXCEPT having placed as first-player "Random" on AoR.
Weirdly, when i started the Vanilla and there i attempted to switch ROTWK on Men of the West.... the game crash!
So basically i can freely play AoR all factions, and i am somewhat stucked at keeping "Random" on your mod: when i try to click Dominion or Empire it's crash.
Not sure exactly how to fix. Maybe depends on which patch i play the vanilla?

To give some feedback,
I've tryed the mod, both factions and they worked well, didnt encounter any bugs, yet.
So although seems to be a very good functioning mod,
I'm just watining for more factions,
And a campaign oh man would be awesome,
Or a custom hero system designed with some abilities from the Elder Scrolls world/games,
Anyway, keep it up this is nice,
Also War of the Ring mode with a Tamriel map Craaaazzyy :D :D
