A barricade was formed, after time attacks became less frequent and order was restored to the land. Those "Central minions" sort of look like one of the Counterstrike Counter Terrorists guys, just recolored. By the way, does the map have HDR lighting in it? Because the white in the map because is a little blurry, one of the signatures of HDR.
I'm guessing the central minions are placeholders until they can get some new models in-game.
nice, I believe that IS indeed HDR, but could be a bloom effect like whats in Rainbow Six Vegas....

Kingston is correct, they provide the dev team with something more fun to shoot at, rarther than the shitty combine. Theyre there for a while untill we get characters ingame. We have a new player modeler who is currently creating a rebel model from a concept we had drawn, i hope he is still with us. Here is a small taster for anyone interested.
