Because there is a person named Gordon Freeman has rebelled against of the combine, so there will be sent some combine forces and try to stop dr.Freeman. And the story is based on half-life 2 but on combines perspective.

about the mod.
In this mod you play as part of the Combine. Your objective is to defend citadel in City 17 from the hoards of Zombies and rebels. You start under the city and work your way to the surface, from there you move onto Ravenholm and then you acquire a vehicle and travel through the sandtraps. Onto Nova Prospekt and back to the city again. Your final act of defensive is the sacrifice of the Citadel City itself - You must destroy it rather than let the Zombies and rebels take control.

It wasn't good. I didn't enjoy it quite well. There were too little health packs, health/recharge stations, and too little ammo to refill. At the trainstation, when I went to the very far end, it loaded the next map, only making it unplayable. Too bad this mod is dead. Oh well, they tried. :)
