Take on the role of an operative in the Hex Gen network, a decentralized movement of hacktivists resisting the economic pillaging conducted by the unholy alliances of Big Tech, Big Military, and Big Finance. Think "The Windup Girl" meets "Neuromancer". Features: -Facial, vocal biometric capture devices -"Nohface" electronic face projector for thwarting surveillance/drones which cover almost every inch of city -Wireless internet -Darknets - all web activity is fully surveilled, you need stealth not only in meatspace but in cyberspace -More types of hacking - cryptography, DDoS, spoofing -Hunger: experience real economic destitution as you slowly die of starvation and are forced to beg, steal, or even kill for a piece of bread. -DIY: Upgrade your hemp trenchcoat with solar trim, syphon electricity from the private power grid, take apart old phones and radios to hack together an EMP gun, set up a hydroponic garden in your squatted flat so you don't have to kill for every meal.

Pics of biohacking experiments and I'm happy to report I've had some offers for help Big shout to those who offered to help with voice, models, programming etc. including firestorm9000, AlvinD2008, and Vexus from the TNM message board.

So been working more on fleshing out world and script. Most recently the biohacking / gene-mod angle of things. Still brainstorming the specifics but here's a kind of visualization of what things might eventually look like.

Rurik Rurik Rurik

This is the latest mutation of "Rurik" the bouncer for one the "clubs" in District Ten. He's kind of a genehack phreak / escaped lab experiment who's got more Vitanet Carcinoboost (tm) controlled-cancer cells than vanilla human flesh in his body. Unfortunately for Rurik, the FDA, EPA and AMA all have current and former CEOs and board members amongst their top leadership, so the double-blind human clinical trials for Carcinoboost were somewhere between imaginary and non-existant. So despite over-the-counter GMM (genetically modifying medications) holo-ads popping up in every phone, theater preview, and piece of toiled paper on the planet that the treatment is safe for everything from muscle building to osteoporosis fighting to growing boar tusks out of your forearms to extruding a fox tail out of your butt (popular with furries), the "controlled cancer" is actually pretty wild and invasive.

In other news, I'm happy to report I've had some offers for help Big shout to those who offered to help with voice, models, programming etc. including firestorm9000, AlvinD2008, and Vexus from the TNM message board.
