"Make Peace or Die" “Talon 1-5” is a story-driven single-player and co-op mod that aims to combine realism and combat tactics with a science-fiction environment. It will put players into a war to end all wars where they will have to think in order to survive. Taking inspiration from history as well as imagination, we will strive to tell a story about the infantrymen and women of the early 22nd century and how they must persevere for survival and victory like all the Marines who preceded them. The story centers around an 12-man special forces squad, codenamed “Talon” attached to the 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment of the United States Marine Corps. As our world once again sinks into war, Talon 1-5 becomes part of the Battalion Landing Team for 31st MEU. As a special operations unit, Talon 1-5 are tasked with hunting down and detaining an influential revolutionary leader, as he may hold the key to ending the conflict before them. Thanks guys, the weapon does seem enormous, but if you take the scaling of the trigger grip and imagine that that is only slightly larger than a human hand, then actually its not that big: each barrel is about 85mm in diameter, slightly smaller than the modern day SMAW barrel: World.guns.ru

So, while it looks a little over-the-top right now, when you see it in the hands of one of our Marines, it should look just right.

the art style really really really reminds me of project hull-breach's early weapon designs.

It should be, they were cool designs.
I think the similarity comes in them both being made in paint, the tool of kings!

Cool! Thanks for the compliment!

I'm mildly curious to see their old designs now, although i haven't been able to find them around.

They seem to have stripped back their concept art to the best stuff.
The paint weapons were smaller and simpler detail wise than yours, very modular designs, one basic system adapted into about ten very diffrent weapons.

One thing concerns me about this weapon, how could the targetting reticule cope with the force of the weapon being fired?

Description

The T75-MS is a heavy, backpackable dual guided
missile launcher, carried by 0351 Assault Marines.
It is a larger, heavier cousin of the S60-RL
rocket launcher. It is the heaviest piece of
man-portable ordinance in the US arsenal. Its
devestating power is counteracted by its heavy
weight and difficult deployment and reloading
method. It requires a specialized hydro-pneumatic
harness to be worn by its operator. A worthy
trade-off when a single round can destroy most
heavy vehicles on the battlefield.
