They are just meant to be a guideline to use for the actual modeling they are not meant to be perfect; plus they might not even be the final concepts at that.

They have cool looking except for the ion cannon wich I can't get how it should work (killing people with ions ? ... huh yeah right ...). The assault rifle make me think about some sort of P90 but the two last one are AWESOME (I'm just in love with flechette and rail guns and those two have an original look).
By Ion Cannon I was thinking concentrated blue beam of death by energy (think Command and Conquer, if you will).
So it would be more like a laser weapon or what ever crazy alien technology.
Rail driver sounds like a weapon firing sticks and using the awesome yet deadly "gauss effect".
Btw all the weapons have a american/man made look, is there a reason to that ?
