Star Wars Conquest is a Mount&Blade; module which transforms a medieval world into the far, far away galaxy... with the same premises than the original game, this module offers an open sandbox where the player can do anything he wants. Based on a Galactic map and hundreds of planets.

Very small suggestion but the cost of "resting" in hangars should be related to what ship you have rather than how many troops. For example staying a day in a hangar with a tie fighter should be 10 credits (for example) whereas a Star Destroyer should have to pay 100 - 1000 a day. It seems silly that you have to pay based on the number of troops when its only the ship's space in the hangar that would cost. Maybe this is hardcoded though

Also another small point... Gran ;) Starwars.wikia.com

Sounds nice. Maybe also making the price independent in each planet (would cost more in Coruscant than in Mos Eisley).

I've also thought of a 'landing in the outskirts' option. But I dunno how it could be implemented. I mean. What would the penalisation be? And I idea I just got: encountering bandits if, after landing, you go to the city scene.

Nice idea Revan, that sounds pretty cool!

Just had another suggestion to do with party size. Perhaps get rid of the leadership skill and replace it with a "flying" skill. Now rather than party size being based on charisma and leadership, maximum party size should be fixed based on the ship you own and the upgrades it has. So for example a tie fighter should only have a a max party size of 2 (or so) but be really fast, whereas a CIS Star Cruiser should have a max party size of say... 100 with no upgrades.

Another cool idea would be the renting of ships so you could have your own personal ship in your hangar but hire a star cruiser for an assault on a planet.

All that needs some change, but perhaps in Warband.

BTW, I loled with the 'flying' skill. just imagine...

Oh yeah I forgot to mention the flying skill (or piloting skill would probably sound better xD!) would be needed to fly different ships, so fighters would only need a skill of 0-4 whereas a star destroyer would need around 10 (or higher, perhaps party members such as tie pilots could contribute to the pool of pilot skill?). But yes, perhaps til warband :). Let's get 0.9.0.4 done first :D!

Maybe stupid question, but when you focus on warband, that means you will not upgrade versions for original M&B? Or you can simultaneously upgrade both versions? (never interested in warband so I dont know how it works etc.)

We meen we will change progress from normal MaB to Warband. So we will keep progressing, but in Warband.

Yes but when you will progressing in warband, that means there will be no more upgrades for M&B, but only for warband..? Or you will "convert" it (from warband to M&B) like you are going to do now (from M&B to warband)?

The way we have it planned right now is to have Galaxy in Conflict as the last version for original MaB. So that the rest of the progress is just for Warband.

Warband is better than the original in almost every way so it seems silly to stay with the original after it ports over :). Sooooooooo excited for 0.9.0.4! I've been practicing on the latest version rather than revising for my exam tomorrow - whoops...

Also a potential fix - are the white uniformed Imperial Officers canon? I don't remember ever seeing a white uniform - black, grey, brown and that nasty browny green, but no white. A small concern anyway :D!

If you are talking about the stormtrooper version of the officer... yes, it's canon. The red shoulder means officer, the white soldier and the black heavy support I think.

If you are talking about the clothes from imperial characters... They have several, and the white is the one which the Grand Moffs use.

Oh sorry I was talking about the Imperial character officers. Sorry should've made that clearer. If its the one the Grand Moff's use then its an error as only those with the title "Officer" use the white uniform in game. The Grand Moffs (correctly I think :S) use the greeny brown uniform both in game and in the films.

A quick google and wookiepedia search says that white imperial officer uniforms don't exist :(. Its not a major concern though

Oh no, I was worng. White is for Grand Admirals, like Thrawn. Black is for low officers, and brown and grey for middle and high I supose.

Ah I see, that'd explain why you don't see any white uniforms in the films as Thrawn doesn't feature. If the team doesn't want to I'll do a quick change of my troops.txt when the next version comes out myself to fix it :)

No need to worry about that. It's better if that gets done via module system.

Fair enough :). One thing I did notice while trying to find an Imperial outfit is a) there is no black officer's outfit b) the white officer uniform has too few medals and c) other than the white outfit none of the hats and uniforms match (this really bugged me as I like to be colour co-ordinated :P)

In ep. 4 there is a white uniform! An Admiral wears it, in the meeting-scene on the death star when Vader struggles General Motti.

I see the guy you mean Hitman, well spotted! I'd personally say its slightly more cream than white though ;)
