Star Wars Conquest is a Mount&Blade; module which transforms a medieval world into the far, far away galaxy... with the same premises than the original game, this module offers an open sandbox where the player can do anything he wants. Based on a Galactic map and hundreds of planets.

Hi, i checked the old forum and the only possible solution to stop crashing on the world map seems to be to download a copy of a low-poly map. I'm running 9.03 with M&B 1.011. Does anyone have a copy of the low poly-map? Any other fixes that you can suggest to stop the crashing? thanks, |

Have you tried using the Updater? As far as I know it fix some bugs... -- for the Star Wars game we never had... |

Hi, thanks for the response. I installed the updater, but it still crashes just as frequently. Strangly enough, i wasn't having this problem early on in the game, but after about day 80-90 or so, it started crashing frequently. any other possible tips? thanks Oh also, does anyone know why the planets glow blue? Are they supposed to? Would you know how to turn that off? might have something to do with the crashing? |

It only crashes for me when I zoom in and try to look in a direction where there's a lot of planets in the distance. I guess the game doesn't optimize the rendering of objects that are too far away to be clearly visible anyway. Try not to zoom in too much. If you need to look at a plant that is far away, use the numpad keys to navigate the map. |

Thanks for the advice. I also find that it crashes when i go to certain areas on the map. \i've tried to stay away from the bottom and right side, but i'll have to go there some time during a war. Any idea if this will be fixed in the next update? thx |

Planets are suposed to glw blue. But it happens that every time you load the game the glow becomes greater. DUnno if the fix is within the upader's actualizations, but it will be on the next version for sure. -- for the Star Wars game we never had... |

I have now tried both the Fileplanet version and the direct download from here, both give me the same issues. When starting up the game and it's loading the ini, several "cannot find bla bla" appears, first round around it would crash with "Cannot load object Costumes_a", but making a copy of Costumes_b and renaming it to _a solved that. What can be causing this ?? Edited by: abraxaz |

Please post your rgl_log.txt, it's a text file where are dumped your computer specs warnings and errors, check it if you want. Thanks for the info Swyter. Question, when you said "...but it will be on the next version for sure. ", did you mean the game crashing will be fixed. Also, would you have a copy of a low poly map I could use? Would you know when 9.04 will be out? Great mod though, can't stop playing it. It's the only reason i'm still playing M&B original version. Download the automatic updater, create a new folder under Modules, paste the zip contents on it. double click on "Update SWC.cmd". Press enter and wait. The latest public version will be downloaded really fast. I'm 100% sure: that version doesn't throws errors.
No idea, M&B's engine goes crazy sometimes, I've reports from people with high-end computers and constantly performance crashes. Looks like it needs latest graphic card drivers, directX and so. Try it and tell me. Personally I've never such type of 'BOOOM!' And I'm playing on a standard laptop. -- My Mount&Blade Tools: » Iron Launcher for Warband » Iron Launcher » Font Customiser » WarKit |

No idea, it just work fine for the rest... this is extremely strange because those are starting warnings at resource loading. It's not related with performance issues or so. They're thrown to everybody if something it's bad. Have you modified, deleted opened some of the Resource files? or saved a buggy copy of module.ini? The only thing I can tell you it's the idiot's solution of reinstalling M&B, cleaning all the installation files first. And later reapplying SWC. Sorry, but I'm really surprised, this is a sort of unexpected thing.... Edited by: Swyter |

Hi, I installed the new version of directx and I installed SWC on my laptop that runs on Windows7, and still, everytime i close in on Bothwui, the game kicks me out. I saw in another thread that a low poly map would solve this. Is there a copy of the low poly map that I could get? |

Use the automatic updater to download the entire latest version with all the fixes applied. Put it in an empty module folder to down everything or use a previous version, in that case only the needed files will be updated, try it!
PS: you can create new threads for your bugs, we've an entire section only for this Edited by: Swyter |
