Star Wars Conquest is a Mount&Blade; module which transforms a medieval world into the far, far away galaxy... with the same premises than the original game, this module offers an open sandbox where the player can do anything he wants. Based on a Galactic map and hundreds of planets.

Factions

Major Factions

Zann Consortium

Since the Zann Consortium had such a big roll in the Galactic Civil war and even made it into multiple Star Wars games, I figured it would be appropriate to suggest them as a faction. Some missions could be about capturing and taking out the Zann Consortium since they were such a big threat. If you didn't even know what to do for the soldier and such, you could just look at Star Wars Empire At War: Forces of Corruption for modeling and such.

Minor Factions

Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS)

The CIS was in fact around during the galactic civil war, they weren't super big though so I think that they would be great as a minor faction. They would remain as a neutral faction to everyone except the Hutt Cartel. They could own one or two planets in the beginning and possibly expand too.

The Republic

The Republic was still around after order 66 as some clones would not follow the order. They would be allied with the rebellion and a target of the Galactic Empire.

These are the only Factions I can really think of right now. If you have a faction you think should be added, comment it down below and I'll add it up here if it is an actual star wars faction.

Note: I am fully aware that the developer stopped working on this game. I made this forum in case somebody else adopts Star Wars: Conquest and decides to work on it and wanted some ideas.

Don't the Rebels kinda represent the both as the last separatist holdouts merged with the Alliance and the rebels were also trying to bring back the Republic?

Many of the remaining CIS members did join the Alliance, but there was still a few members who stayed with the CIS along with a considerable amount of droids. Also, there were rogue clones who refused to execute order 66 and left the Empire. Oh and the rebels wanted to restore the republic, but not with an army of clones.

I don't believe that the CIS or the "Republic" should be factions. The CIS leadership was destroyed effectively on Mustafar, signaling an end to the clone wars, and any stronghold still maintained by the separatists was destroyed within four years by the Empire. The separatist equipment and resources were used by different parties later in Star Wars lore.

The Republic should not be a faction, because the Galactic Republic was dissolved and remolded into the Galactic Empire, complete with an imperial senate. Basically, the Republic became the Empire. A handful of aged rogue clones is not sufficient to constitute a faction.

When I said faction I didn't mean a huge facftion, I only meant it as a minor faction, like the Deserters or Pirates.
