Okay so I've been tasked with sorting out the dialogue but there's been some issues regarding corrections to make it feel less medieval. Some issues that I've struggled to solve have been regarding mentions of God and lords. The only change for "God" I could think of would be the Force. Does anyone have any better ideas? EDIT: Decided to take out any mentions of God and insert some different dialogue As for Lords, well there's lots of options, could keep Lords but a lot of the characters aren't Lords. Other options include: That's probably enough for people to choose from at the moment, any help much appreciated Edited by: Panda6666 |

Lord - Ruler -- for the Star Wars game we never had... |

Lord - General, Moff, Grand Moff |

General's okay but does it fit all the factions? Moff and Grand Moff can't be done because the title has to be usable by all Lords for every faction and only applies to Imperials. Decided to use Revan's suggestions coz he'll get mad otherwise |

Never mind, that's OK. |

You need to use general names, cause for example there are no moffs on the rebel side, and Luke isn't a general. So lords should be rulers/governors, and kings simply leaders. -- for the Star Wars game we never had... |

You are right. Imperial Moffs traced their origins to the Old Republic, which used Moffs as de jure governors of Allied Regions. I started with this position, but as game action occurs during an episode 5 you are absolutely right. |

sure thing, I'm literally gonna change that in about 30 seconds . Any other small changes like that would be much appreciated ^^ Another suggestion (because for some reason I can't access the main forum anyway and it's only small) would be to change the name of Caravans to "Convoys". I've changed it in the dialogue and it sounds better and more Star Wars-esque . Edit: Change caravan masters to convoy masters Edited by: Panda6666 |

Good for you, Panda, "Convoys" sounds much better. Here some dialogs I think must be changed: |

Jabba? Him, for sure. Jabba being a 'she' is a mistake. -- for the Star Wars game we never had... |

Jabba is not the only one. I believe that all alien leaders are referred to as that.(Chewy, Bossk, almost of of the Hutt leaders, etc.) --

I'm not sure what I can do about the whole she thing, maybe I could try and have a look and change it to "they" where appropriate or something similar. Keep those corrections coming guys! EDIT: Strangely none of the corrections you mentioned are in the dialogue files. Revan, do you have any idea what other document they could be in? Edited by: Panda6666 |

Not settlers, locals is the way to go. Cause some planets might be barely innhabited, but other (lique Nar SHaddaa), though treted as villages, are even city-planets with no 'settlers' involved. -- for the Star Wars game we never had... |

Locals, yes. Sounds more StarWarsey. Panda, I can help you with dialogs if you want to. Just send me PM. And Revan, I've found more sounds for battles and cantina. If you need it just send PM. |
