I thought I could start a thread where people could talk about cultures they might like to see in game. Personally I'd like to see the 2 halves of the "Human" faction split into the "good" and "evil" halves as the mix seems a little odd.

Another culture could simply be "Alien", including wookies, rodians, trandoshans, sullustans, mon calimari, twi' lek, Gamorrean, Geonosian etc.

Finally another faction could be a "Mercenary" faction, drawing all the aliens into the mix as well as human mercenaries such as the "Civilian" and "Mandalorian" troop trees.

Not saying these should be included or any suggestions in this thread should be, I'm just throwing ideas out there :)

The Mercenary one sounds good. Though I don't like the 'alien' one, and don't understand what you would expect to see from evil and good humans...

Basically, Revan, I think his issue is with lords in your own kingdom using both the "good" and "evil" sides of the civilian troop tree. Which is a fair point IMO.

Doesn't bug me that much, but I can see where it'd be an issue for some.

Yeah that's what I'm getting at :). Hehe personally I like the "thug" side of the tree but don't want security guards and the like being part of the tree too, seems contradictory to have criminals and guards working together. Maybe this is something to consider for Warband though where you could create "civilians" with an "evil" troop tree without the good and vice versa and assign one of the civilians to be the recruit of each culture. So for example you could pick "evil humans" as a culture and get civilians that upgrade into thugs etc and "good humans" that upgrades into security guards. The normal civilians troop tree that we have now would still be needed though for the player, the different troop trees would just be necessary for the player's Lords. I suggest it for Warband as the troop limit is removed and space is a little tight at the moment. Hope that made some sense, it didn't as I was typing it :P

Why "Alien"? I don't think it'll work

I guess regarding recruits and everything it wouldn't work that well. Hmm okay scrap that idea then. I would like some kind of pirate / smuggler / hutt troop tree or culture that isn't tied to the Hutts, something a little like Tyber Zann's forces but a little less... random :P

Yeah, lot of people have been asking for it lately. So it might be good to have a droide culture as well.
