Serious Hero Icon Improvment image - Rise of the Droid Empire mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Same mod, different name, The Galactic Empire, the Rebel Alliance, the Black Sun Pirates, and the Droid Empire, fight for control of the galaxy.
Since I first started making EAW Icons, I've tried to improve them and make them look more like how they do in Un-modded EAW. This shows the evolution of the icons for Super Star Wars, starting with vanilla EAW:FOC's icons, then SSW's icons before I improved them, and after. You'll noticed that a few icons look identical to their vanilla EAW counter-parts, just a way better quality. You can also see the difference between vanilla EAW's GUI and Super Star War's GUI.
There are a few icons that still need to be fixed. Palpatine's icon needs to be smaller, Vader's is too bright, for a Sith I don't think it should be so bright, Kyle and Jan's need a new icon, and so does Dash.
One thing I've always tried to do is use non-cartoon images for the heroes, unless none are available. I just glad to have ones like Jan, Kyle, Dash, and Mara, that are real and not drawn.
