I wonder if there would be any invisible units (with cloaking devices)? I haven't played EaW for so long that I don't remember if there were any. If there are, you can have the sensor dish reveal them.

P.S. And I'm not so sure if removing FOW would be a good idea. Without it, a lot of the tactics and strategy would be impossible: you can't make an ambush, stealthily flank the enemy (or go around it), or draw the enemy units in one part of the base, while you attack with larger force from the opposite end.

If you remove the FOW all this would be gone; you'll always know how, where, and when the enemy would attack and with what strength, where he have units and so on.

I know that many people hate FOW (me including since I'm not so good of a player in strategy games and I can't properly handle POW the right way), but I still think that removing it would be a bad idea.

EDIT: For those who don't know what "FOW" is

I agree with evgenidb; I would go for keeping the Fog of War and instead you could put an abandoned sensor array in a strategicaly good area somewhere in the skirmish maps, but you should put this 'good area' somewhere where all teams playing in the map can get to it. (For exemple: in the middle of the map with a few defences and/or an outpost or mineral prosecors pads).

I'm not removing the FOW from the game, I don't even know how to. The only thing I've done is add units that have a large FOW reveal range. Each faction has three grounds units that do this, two heroes and one vehicle unit.

The Empire has the Emperor, Vader, he gets a large FOW reveal range because of the Executor, and the Juggernaut MCV.

For the Rebels they have, Yoda with his Force Sight, Garm Bel-Iblis, from the Gargantuan, and the Gallofree MCV.

And finally the Droids with General NK, IG-88a and his new ship, and finally the Droids Mobile Command Vehicle.

If anyone doesn't want the FOW removed, don't use these units or heroes, and I'm not removing these abilitys.

Description

I've reduced the cost for all the build pads options in skrimish. I've never liked having to waste so many credits for these in skirmish. The cost of each turret, bacta tank, and repair facility is the same for all the factions. Also will be removing the Sensor array as an option since it will be obsolete with all the new units that will remove the FOW.
