So hows the progress going?

I can't wait to get my hands on SMP 2.5, but for now I'll just have to settle with STALKER CoP... The game is epic, GSC did a really good job this time!
The whole Yanov-Prypiat travel is amazing!

I have to thank boink for all the new weapons.. I'm merging them now.. Lol we're actually out of room for the icons.. We have to delete icons that are not being used... to make room and shuffle the rest to fit the newer guns.

I've tried to merge the flamer from AMK but its not compatible with eggchens particles mod which we use. So no go on that one... but there is plenty of other killer weapons to make up the loss.

Ya I know I wanted the flamer.. I always like it for close combat or close quarters... Very deadly... But it don't work... It looks cheezy with a ball of fire expanding 360 radius... killing everything...

A question, but in SMP 2.5 The projectiles can pierce multiple enemies?

Thats actually something I wanted to know aswell, but I think not..
Only the updated versions of the X-ray engine (the ones used for CS and COP) can do it (I think).

I never herd of this. WE have two RPGs one antitank that does armor piercing damage. We have one that is anti personelle. That does like flak damage. So maybe?

I have a question. Would it be possible to make scopes lock on targets like binoculars? I saw one "thermal scope" in COP and I thought hey cool feature but when I bought it I saw that it actually does what binocs do XD

I have a question too... So, blowouts in SMP 2.4 comes in very countable times... So, can you do in SMP 2.5, that the blowouts come randomly?

I do not completely understand what you wrote because I do not know English well, However
generally the FMJ bullets are highly penetrant, such as a 9x21 caliber
bullet fired from a Beretta 98 FS at 50 meters can easily pierce two
men aiming for the head, in SMP 2.4 I saw that no bullet pierces the
enemy, if at least some
gauges had this characteristic would increase the realism for sure.

I think physics of the game is not made for such things. But I think you can penetrate certain materials or even doors. I think you can shoot through big white doors at Garbage garage. But for enemies... from what I saw in old OL trailers they haven't made it.

Your read my mind.. this is something I've thought about but don't know how to do it. I will try it for SmP 3.0.

I don't know? We've haven't touched the blowout section.. Just fixed some bugs thanks to AEI and friends.

xrEngine isn't capable of handling that. Armor Piercing is borked in SHOC. Its not real AP rounds. Blame GSC for that.

Some exo suits are modified and elites.. They can run others can't.. There are new prototype suits that the military sells only.. But you need good relationships with them.

Well I played COP for some time with S.M.R.T.E.R. mod and its very good. Wolfe was right however. Game is, sadly, very empty. Its like they tried to make working material for modders. I mean sure, its Zone so it should be wasteland and COP story is very deep in the zone but it still feels empty somehow. So if ya wanna play it, I suggest S:M.R.T.E.R. Pripyat 0.41 mod from filefront. Its improves the experience.

Wolfhunter, maybe you have to put a little thing into SMP 2.5: Drinking. Stalkers have to be thirsty too, not just hungry, i think...

Strelok is correct about COP. I love COP many improvements since SHOC and CS but its made for modders or if they're planing to release DLC's later on.. who knows.

Its empty world with 3 maps... Now if they had 7 or 11 maps then that would be awesomes. I think GSC will expand the game. Keep the money flowing.

Also there will plenty of mod content that will keep cop alive.

Well, i have a problem with COP. If i try to set the Dynamic lights, in the game the screen starts to change colors... Like in SMP 2.4 Military warehauses....
So, anybody can help me in this situation? :-)

I'm not an expert and I never hat that experience myself but it find it unusual that two different games have same problem. My best guesses are that its either driver or card overheating. What is your card manufacturer? Also what are GPU and VRAM temperatures when you run the game? I had one ATI 4850 that was overheating for no reason and artifacts would show up at screen... Are you having problems with other games too?
