Twenty days after the first upload the SturmMOD has reached 500+ downloads if the download statistics of all the different sites used are counted together. This means an average 25 downloads each day. Compared to other mods the numbers may be small but considering the topic (many gamers seem to have had bad experiences with Shakespeare in school! :D) I am surprised and happy that even so many people were open to play such an experimental mod that transfers a 17th century theatre play into a 21st century video game!
Thanks again to all who downloaded and played the mod. Special thanks to all who commented and rated the mod. Be sure that every advice what to change in order to improve the gameplay of the next version (SturmMOD v1.1: Prospero's Diaries) will be considered in the development stages!
The mod has been rated on various sites, from 1/10 to 4.5/10 to 10/10 here on ModDB. Many gamers didn't like the fact that no adversaries were around - this will change with the new content in v1.1. Others felt lost, because they didn't know the background story (provided in the STORY.txt file in the mod folder) or missed a guiding system (maybe Ariel will come into play at this point in the v1.1). Still a lot of work to do...
Looking forward to new comments and ratings (don't be shy, people!^^),
