Welcome to Mobile Infantry: Starship Troopers a Half-Life 2 Modification aimed to recreate the look and feel of the climactic battles from the Major Motion Picture while giving you a taste of what it would be like to be a part of the Mobile Infantry by creating an immersive world filled with detailed characters and environments in an effort to create a level of immersion while on and off the battlefied.
You play as Jim Taggert a former farmer on the planet of Roku San, after the peaceful farm planet is quickly ravaged by a bug invasion Jim finds himself enlisting in the Mobile Infantry in an attempt at to regain control of his own life. As a Trooper you will fight in battles against waves of Bugs, navigate unfamiliar worlds, and meet characters on and off the battlefield with their own lives and agendas.
Mobile Infantry: Starship Troopers aims to not only recreate similar battles as seen in the movies and television series but also to provide you with new bugs to face and character bonding moments in an effort to make you fully feel like you are on the path to become a citizen.

Just a small update, I hired a writer today, he recently completed his 3rd year in Computer Games Design and brings some very in-depth insight into the business. Together we will be trying to bring something new to the table not only in the terms of story but also in the gameplay department.
This does not mean that media will be released anytime soon however, as I stated in the resurrection announcement the team here are making sure that we are aiming for quality and we are not trying to rush into this like chickens with our heads cut off, an event that is very common in most mods these days.

umm... antlion troopers deuce was a good mod at the time, if you could get it to work. it just takes some time to do so
I do suggest multiplayer. Co-op kind of multiplayer. It could further the experience of this mod. Just my opinion.
This is just an addition to my Multiplayer Co-op suggestion.
When you enter multiplayer co-op, there is a character selection(depends if your added multiple main characters). If your not, then I guess just have a Co-op of 8-16.
Not going to bother posting a news item for this, just going to simply say we're picking up speed on pre-production. Trying a few different ideas.

This might've been asked before but is this singleplayer or multiplayer?
Mainly single-player.
We do have some ideas for multiplayer but haven't settled on having that in the initial release unless its something unique.
