The mod is barely 3 weeks old but we already have very good news ! The work progresses quickly and nicely thanks to the melt of the various (still alive) teams which were previously spread among several Stargate mods.
A first internal version of the mod, the alpha 0.1, will soon be finished (January 20, 2008) and its achievement will be accompanied by a large images & information release campaign.
Until then, and to make the mod match your expectations, we have decided to set up frequent polls, which allow us to better take your opinion into account. (http://polls.stargatetc2.com/).This poll gives indicative information to the devteam, which will allow us to adapt our ideas with your expectations.
Please note that a faq will soon be put online to answer most of the questions you could have.

It's not a port from hl1, it's a full new Total Conversion under the Source Engine.
