Half-Life 2 mod | Released Jul 13, 2008

Stargate: Legacy started off as a conversion of the popular StargateTC to the source engine, but now is an independent mod using the latest Source engine technologies. For those who might not know, SGL, just like SGTC, is based on the popular TV show Stargate SG-1 as well as Stargate Atlantis. There are currently two versions of Stargate Legacy, both of which are multiplayer only. Single player will not be started until we are satisfied we have reached a multiplayer release that requires minimal attention from the devs, allowing us to focus on other projects.

Welcome to the July 09 News.

It's July, it's hot, it's summer. Here in the UK we're in a heatwave and baking. We're all having fun in the sun and we hope you all are too. Anyway, this month is a month to celebrate two things, on the 13th July 2009, there are 2 birthdays, coomdoom's 17th and SGL's 1st birthday. YAY! Furling has continued his work on his Conquest map and here are some the beautiful results of his hard work:

Our other devs are still working hard and trying to cope with the heat but it's all progressing well so all is good. That's all for this month. Have a great July, play safe, don't get burnt and keep away from the 'Stranger Danger' :p

Heat! haha! It's July in Australia too but it's a cool 8 to 22 degrees (bit windy at the moment though) and so on. Enjoy your heat wave :P

Temperatures vary from 26°C to 31°C. And at night it barely reaches 24°.
And no time to get out, because there are 7 exams in August that all require a lot of work. :(

Nice update guys!! Can't wait. I showed this to my girlfriend and she was like "Wow that looks really cool" (because she's a die hard Stargate fan). She's even thinking about playing it on my second Steam account. :D
