Stargate: Legacy started off as a conversion of the popular StargateTC to the source engine, but now is an independent mod using the latest Source engine technologies. For those who might not know, SGL, just like SGTC, is based on the popular TV show Stargate SG-1 as well as Stargate Atlantis. There are currently two versions of Stargate Legacy, both of which are multiplayer only. Single player will not be started until we are satisfied we have reached a multiplayer release that requires minimal attention from the devs, allowing us to focus on other projects.

i notice that you don't have a very good grip on that pistol, are you just gonna add a grip into the texture?
hey ho, yes you're right but here's why - adding a grip using just textures (and of course, bump mapping) will look just as good, adding a grip to the model adds unnecessary polygons which affects performance, and lastly, most of the time you won't see it as hopefully you're holding it by the right end ;)
ahhhh bad ass! u need to post another one with all the weapons textured! but very nice job!
talking about saving polygons, shouldn't have used boolean on the grenade!
Using boolean isn't that bad, if you clean up. ;)
Wow, this is impressive. Props to the modeler(s).
oh man that is so beautiful those are really polished models nice work
very, very nice models, but what is this? the sterotype of a C4 charge ?!
assuming its supoosed to be C4 and not a satchel, it looks nothing like that. it comes in tan bricks. other than that basically these models are fantastic.
Sweet!
Man, sorry but these models are rough. The biggest thing that jumps out at me is the rails. I know a lot of modelers don't take there time on what they may think of as a minor detail, but those rails will be in the players face constantly when using a v_model. Picatinny rails are all the same dimensions on all locations, top, side and bottom. Use the array tool if you are in 3D studio max to make sure they are all the same size and properly aligned. Use a picture to get near the correct dimensions, or at least model in scale so that you can type in these numbers (Here is a nice wikipedia image that has all the dimensions for you En.wikipedia.org)
Man. You complain too much. The weapons look fine and way better than other mods. They look very real to me and I doubt they will get in the way. As for the HL1 looking stuff...if you look at other posts and stuff they have made they are currently using HL1 LOD stuff.
