Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back mod

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back is a mod for the game Empire at War, continuing the storyline through to the end of Episode IV. Players will be able to build new units, such as B-Wings, Super Star Destroyers and even the mighty Second Death Star.

The mod will include a new Campaign played from the Empire's perspective, focusing on Darth Vader's continued search for the Rebels. It also completely removes land battles; meaning we can focus more on the strategic aspect of Space Battles.

We are also going to add a plethora of new planets to the game, from Sluis Van to Utapau and beyond. These will all be added to the Galactic Conquest game 'Galactic Conflict', which includes every single planet in the game. There will also be a number of new Galactic Conquest games added to the mod.

There will also be a lot of new heroes. One of the ones we are most looking forward to commanding is Dash Rendar - pilot of the Outrider. You might be thinking "Just another Millenium Falcon". Well, that's where you're wrong - the Outrider will be incredibly useful at countering Tartan Patrol cruisers thanks to its heavy Laser Cannons and Missile turrets. Another is Captain Pellaeon - commander of the ISD Chimaera. He will feature prominently in the campaign, and you will find that he is very useful in Galactic Conquest.

Multiplayer
We realise as well that many of you still play multiplayer Empire at War, and, as such, we will be adding a lot of multiplayer content. As well as 3 new campaigns based on the Original Trilogy, there will also be a lot of new skirmish content - including the Executor for all you manic tech-advancers.
