Star Wars Rise of Hope is a mod that will be based on the early Empire and its fall against the Rebel Alliance and its following sucessor the New Republic.
So this one's kinda weird. Technically Sly was right in saying it's the Imperial Cargo Frigate, however Gojira and Crooked_Crab are also right in saying it's a Munificent. Before we discovered the true identity of the ship, we though it was a heavily modified Munificent as the similarities are uncanny. By the time we discovered what the ship really was, we already had this sucker textured and everything. We decided it would be best to stick to this design for the Rebel Munificent as "Some vessels later ended up in the Rebel Alliance, where many ships were extensively modified to the point where they barely resembled their original design." and we think this qualifies.

Looks great!
Oh it's beautiful, honestly I love this ship, it's so amazing, great work, what do weapons look like?
I think these will stand as its primary cannons Moddb.com
Ah, and will these replace all munificents or will we see some unmodified ones in Rebel service as well?
You´ll see unmodified Munificents, but not in Rebel service.
You can check here who will get them: Moddb.com
Ah I see, thanks for the clarification, will the other CIS ships get heavy modifications? Or just a rebel insignia?
Just rebel paint jobs, the Munificent was modified because of being stated on Wookiepedia that they were.
You could also take the Rebel One as another heavy modified CIS ship.
Ah I see, and thanks for putting up with my questions, and I'm I can't wait to play this mod, and hopefully not lose Rebel One.
"Oh, it's beautiful".
What modifications did the rebels make?
Thanks :)
Besides the obvious ones, it has some heavy turbolasers and more ions cannons.
Ah. It not enough to take on an ISD?
My God no, these thing is not able to do that. All ion weaponry it has is heavy so it could help against them, but ultimately not destroy it.
lol Is there ANYTHING in the rebel's arsenal that can take out a star destroyer 1 on 1??
Is there? Has been any?
MC-30 deletes star destroyers!
wow. more mutilated CIS vessels. the rebels only get 4?
You can say this would be the last one ;)
As explained by Bucman, we didnt knew those were imperial cargo ships until we had it finished, we are thinking of making all CIS ships of the Alliance starting units so once they lose them you cant build them again.
I was thinking they could only build them on former CIS fortress worlds and only in limited numbers. Possibly some available as starting forces.
Only a number can be build and once they are destroyed they are done for good, yes that´s the best option IMO.
Agreed.
Oh my, i guess i am gonna keep certain ships alive.......
Great, I like it! :)
Thank you Du}{ :)
It looks wierd without the wings!
You guys rock.
Very nice.
Thanks Megabalta :)
I find it funny that the ship this is based on is apparently heavily modified Acclamator yet it pretty much looks like a modified Munifcient.
I couldnt believed it when I saw it stated it was an modified Acclamator, it just didnt made sense.
I did wonder if perhaps the writer or artist confused the two ships somehow or perhaps there was some miscommunication somewhere that created this ship.
I´m pretty sure it was miscommunication.
That's a nice ship, love the model and the new texture :)
Thanks CdtFox :)
Great ship And yeah it looks like a Munificent but I don't think it looks at all like the Imperial Cargo Ships:
Vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net
Granted all we have are views from behind but yeah... can't see the modfied Aclamator though, won't lie hehe
Read the description and you'll see all the trouble we had with this ship, we didnt planned the Imperial Cargo Ship :P
I did haha and I know its a modified Rebel Munificent we good. Just a misunderstanding hehe
any additional views so we can see the modifications?
